Add past papers to your ChatGPT or Claude

Link pastpapers.com to ChatGPT or Claude and you can ask it for any past paper or mark scheme right inside the chat. It takes about a minute to set up, it is completely free, and you never have to sign in.

What does this do?

On their own, ChatGPT and Claude cannot open real past papers. This gives them one new skill: searching every past paper and mark scheme on pastpapers.com. Once it is set up, you just ask in normal words and the paper turns up in your chat.

For example, you could ask

“Find the AQA Maths paper from June 2023, then quiz me on the questions I get wrong.”

Find any paper

Ask for a paper by subject, board or year and it appears in your chat.

See the mark scheme

Get the answers and how each mark is given, right next to the questions.

Revise smarter

Ask it to quiz you, explain a question or mark your answer like an examiner.

How to set it up

Pick the app you use and follow the steps. You copy one link, paste it in, and that is it. Nothing to download, and no sign in.

ChatGPT and Claude call these add-ons “connectors”. Setting one up just means pasting the link above into a settings screen, once.

Works in the Claude app and on the Claude website.

  1. 1Open Settings and go to Connectors.
  2. 2Tap Add custom connector.
  3. 3Give it a name like pastpapers.com, then paste the link from above.
  4. 4Tap Add. That is it. Now just ask Claude for any paper.

Is it safe?

  • It is free. No account, no password and no card needed.
  • It can only read papers, just like browsing the website. It cannot change anything or see your personal information.
  • It works on the ChatGPT and Claude websites, apps and phones.
